Birthdays

Just wanted to wish my little guy a Happy 4th Birthday yesterday. We had a great weekend celebrating!

Friday Five

1. Eric's unplanned trip to the eye doctor went well. Nothing serious to worry about.

2. Spring is here - at least for a few days.

3. The way my baby looks at me first thing in the morning - love his smile.

4. Meeting new and inspiring people this week.

Pat's Run

Tommorw is the 5th annual Pat's Run in Tempe honoring the life of Pat Tillman. I am working the event and will be there before the sun gets up. If you are in the metro Phoenix area throw on your running shoes and come out to Sun Devil Stadium by 6:30 to sign up and run!

March is already over?

How did that happen? I tell you, time is flying! T turned 5 months old last weekend and i had a job interview last week. The 2nd one this YEAR.
I think so far ihave done well adjusting to the life of a stay at home mom. It is getting easier for me. That may sound strange but i want to be a stay at home mom however in my mind i hear a voice saying go to work so you can pay the bills.
For those of you not covered in snow Happy Spring! For everyone else still in a parka, hold on because Spring or summer will be there eventaully!

Friday Five

Yes i am stealing Friday Five from Amy because I need to focus a little and maybe write here more often. :)

1. My kids are finally healthy again - January was a tough month for colds
2. Although i am unemployeed and in need of a new job sooner than later i am thrilled to get to spend more time at home with Trevor.
3. Trevor is able to hold a conversation of sounds with himself - and its so cute
4. Dinner is in the Crockpot
5. The laundry is almost done

Happy Belated New Year!
I'm a little slow getting to update this. We are all sick and on meds and its no fun! Eric has pneumonia, a very slight case but its been a tough week.

I need to wish S&P a belated Happy Anniversary which was yesterday.
And the baby is crying so i'll complete this later....

Merry Almost Christmas

Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays!

I love this time of year and it seems to be flying by a little too fast this year. We took out the fake 9 ft tree we bought at Costco last year and discovered the metal stnad was craacked. Dad tried to fix it and we set up the tree Monday night. By the next day we noticed the tree was leaning. Not good. We talked to the warrenty people for the tree and a new stand will come in 7-10 days. Cross my fingers its by the 24th! Tonight the tree decided to fall over as the old stand couldn't hold it up anymore. Good thing we have held off on putting up the christmas decorations!
